Ichthamol

I haven't tried this, but my best friend said that she knew people who came home to find a wound on their horse. It was too late to stitch, but deep & starting to get infected. They cleaned it out and packed it with ichthamol. It supposedly healed beautifully.

Take it with a grain of salt, like I said, I haven't tried it.
