Copper pipe in water bucket

Well, you can try putting a 4 or 5 inch piece of copper pipe in your mares feed bucket or water bucket. The old farmers say that it helps to lessen the severity of a mares cycle, supposedly some mares begin to show no signs. I have tired it myself and it seems to have helped calm down my mares.
